Pastor Dr. Wallace A. Miller

I started out life in a small town in rural Michigan on a small family farm. After graduating from High School in 1978, I attended the University of Toledo and graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1983. Upon being employed by the corporate Engineering group at Owens Illinois, I was sent to Cincinnati. It was here in Cincinnati that I heard about my need for salvation for the first time in my life at Friendship Baptist Church. Two days after hearing the gospel for the first time, I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior on Easter Sunday in 1984. My college sweetheart (Sharon) and I were married on June 9th, 1984. She was saved in August of 1984, and we were baptized together in September of 1984. Sharon and I can honestly say that we love each other more today than the day we were married over 25 years ago. We have three boys, and consider ourselves and our home blessed.

I began attending evening classes at a local Bible college shortly after being saved. My wife and I began working with the teens at Friendship Baptist Church at the request of our Pastor on the first Sunday in February of 1985. I surrendered to the call to preach in the summer of 1987, and began taking correspondence classes through Bethany Theological Seminary about that time. From that time forward I have seized every possible opportunity to teach or preach that I could. I continued with those classes until I finished my ThD in June of 1992. Brother Preston Richardson and Friendship Baptist Church called me to be an Associate Pastor in July of 1997. At that time, I resigned my career in Engineering to serve on the full-time staff at Friendship Baptist Church. We continued to do youth work at FBC for over 20 years. We were blessed to see hundreds of salvation decisions, significant numerical growth, steady spiritual growth, and great impact on the community around us because of the way in which Christ has placed His hand upon us over the years. What a privilege it was, to watch and be a part of a ministry that grew from just over a hundred to well over a thousand.

The most difficult decision we have ever made as believers, was the one to leave the only Bible-preaching Church (which had become large by that time) we had ever known at the end of 2005, and go on deputation to raise support to start Bible Baptist Church from scratch. We believed then (as now) that God had called us and our family to plant Bible Baptist Church in north Fairfield. God has wonderfully blessed His work at BBC from the day we started on April 2nd, 2006. We had at least one first-time visitor each week for the first 90 weeks of our existence. God has raised up a wonderful core of faithful and godly people, who take their ministries seriously and sincerely attempt to live the faith they profess on Sunday through the week. At the time of our Grand Opening of our new building after six years and five months, we have been blessed to see many people saved, 134 baptisms, over 250 new members, and 2,471 first-time visitors at services at BBC. In that same amount of time because of the grace of God and the diligence of God's people, we have been blessed to personally distribute over 142,000 flyers, tracts, and Scriptures. Each one contained information about salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and an invitation to BBC. The ministries at BBC have now grown to include ministries to children, teens, and adults of all ages. To God be the glory... Great things He hath done!

My desire for everyone who visits Bible Baptist Church is for them to find the same things that Sharon and I found so many years ago... someone clearly preaching and teaching God's Word without compromise... some Christian people sincerely attempting to live the Christian life in an ungodly world... a kind and friendly Church with a heart for God and others. I hope you will come and join us some time soon because I believe you can find all of those at BBC!

I was born and raised in Greater Cincinnati, which is where I've made my home for most of my life. Being raised in a divorced home, my brother and I moved back and forth between my mom and dad's house many times. At the age of 11 we were living with my dad and visiting my mom on the weekends and Wednesdays. At that particular time, my mom was attending Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Harrison, Ohio. The church was showing a movie during a Wednesday evening service called "A Thief in the Night". It depicted the events that would occur after the rapture. That night, for the first time, I understood what it meant to be "lost". At the age of 11 I realized that I needed to accept Christ as my Savior in order to go to Heaven. On February 18th, 1987, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I was baptized a few months later.

After graduating from Colerain High School in 1994, I attended the University of Cincinnati. Not really knowing what I was going to do with my life, I took general classes hoping that something would interest me. It wasn't until a Marine Corps recruiter came to our house to speak with my brother that I found something which really interested me. Rather than my brother signing up, he got me instead! In January of 1996 I went off to boot camp in Parris Island, SC. Upon graduating from Marine Corps boot camp and finishing 4 months of additional training, I moved back to Cincinnati. Two years later I met my wife-to-be (Minde Doyle) at Friendship Baptist Church. She had been saved on June 25th, 1989 at the age of 9. We were married on September 25th, 1999.

I started working with teenagers at Friendship Baptist Church in the year 2000. Under the leadership of Brother Wally, Minde and I worked with the Junior High and Senior High bus kids for 4 years. It was a great learning experience for me. We were blessed to see God work as we went from zero High School kids up to averaging over 20, with high days over 40. During that same time, I also worked in Children's church, the Bus ministry, and was the coordinator of numerous Back Yard Bible Clubs.

In July of 2003, God called me to preach. The next year Minde and I moved to Louisville, KY so that I could attend Shawnee Baptist College. While there, I worked with young people of all ages: teenagers, bus kids, Children's church, Teen church, and Back Yard Bible Clubs. Minde and I attended Shawnee for 2 years until we believed God was calling us back home to the Cincinnati area to help start Bible Baptist Church in Fairfield. I finished my studies with Shawnee Baptist College via correspondence courses in 2010 with a bachelor degree in Biblical Studies.

On June 2 of 2010 God richly blessed Minde and me with the birth of a baby girl - Lily. And on February 5th, 2014, God further blessed us with our second child - Caleb!

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I grew up in the Colerain Township area, which is a northern suburb of Cincinnati. I graduated from Northwest High School in 1988, obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Programming in 1990 from Cincinnati Technical College, and I have continued my Christian ministerial education through correspondence classes with Bethany Divinity College and Seminary in Dothan, Alabama since 2008.

I met my wife, Vanessa, on a blind date back in July of 1993. God allowed a Christian lady, that both of us knew at different times in our childhoods, to bring us together on that double date. I somehow knew she was the one God meant for me, even though she couldn’t believe I proposed only 4 months after we started dating. We were married in August of 1993 after only knowing each other 1 year, 1 month, and 1 day. We currently live in Hamilton, Ohio, which is about 30 miles north of Cincinnati, in Butler County. I currently work in the Information Technologies (IT) field for Butler County Government. My wife is a wonderful homemaker who does a great job with our 2 girls, a boy, and me!

We both grew up in families that attended Bible believing Baptist Churches regularly. We both heard the Gospel preached when we were young children. I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior when I was 7 years old during a Sunday morning service. My wife was saved when she was 5 years old at her home. Though we both attended different churches growing up, God used our dating to bring us together at Friendship Baptist Church in Cheviot, another suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. That's where I met our Pastor, Bro. Wally Miller, who was the Youth Minister of FBC at that time.

The Biblical preaching at FBC had a great impact on my life. It was around April of 1994, through a series of messages I heard from a guest evangelist by the name of Bro. Bill Sturm that I felt God's call in my life. I didn't know exactly what He had in mind for me at that time. I just wanted God to use me. My wife and I started working in Children's Ministries at that time. God opened doors for us to serve in many different ministries over the 13 years we served at FBC. Among them were with 3 & 4 year olds in the Awana Clubs, a 5th grade Sunday School class, Vacation Bible School, and Children's Church. It was a great blessing to see many kids come to Christ during that time. The Holy Spirit began speaking to us in May of 2006 to change our ministry focus. We felt God leading us to work in a ministry where we could have an impact closer to home, which had been in Hamilton, Ohio since 1999.

We joined Bible Baptist Church, in Fairfield, Ohio, on June 25, 2006. Pastor Miller asked us to pray about starting a Children's Church ministry. The Lord gave us assurance this was His will. We started as directors of the Children's Church Ministry in August of 2006. Since starting the Children’s Church Ministry, I’ve also been blessed to be ordained as a Deacon on February 10th, 2008. Part of my responsibilities as a Deacon is being Director of Children’s Ministries, which I get to work with all the other great ministries of the church that deal with Children (Master Clubs, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Nursury, etc.) God has blessed my life, as well as the rest of my family, so much since we've been serving here at Bible Baptist Church in Fairfield, Ohio. We’ve seen great growth in our church and spiritual growth in our own lives. I pray that God will give me the strength to continue serving Him as faithfully as I can for years to come.

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio by parents who loved the Lord. From birth to age 9, I went to Northbrook Baptist church in Mt. Healthy. My father was a deacon and my mother played the church piano. My family would on occasion sing in front of church while my mother played. I was taught at an early age to go to church, read my bible, and to pray. Even though I made a profession of faith at the age of 5 at a revival, it was not until I was 9 that I realized for the first time I needed a Savior. After a few weeks of crying myself to sleep at night, I woke my parents up and my Dad led me to the Lord. Since then I have had a deep desire to tell the lost about Jesus and to try to be a friend to others. At the age of 14, at another revival, I surrendered the rest of my life to the Lord for full time service whatever He so chose. My junior year of high school I started attending Friendship Baptist church. Brother Wally Miller was my youth director and under his preaching and teaching, I learned much about God's Word and have placed great amount of respect for him and his wife. I believe Bro. Miller has been blessed by God with much wisdom and understanding about the Bible and has over the years developed a special way to share it with others.

In 2005, I surrendered to Gods calling in my life to preach. Since then I have taken every opportunity to teach or preach and have been preparing for what God has in store. I was married in April 2006 to Leticia and in 2012, our first our daughter Elena Grace was born. We were blessed for the Lord to guide us to Bible Baptist from the very beginning and we are excited about how God will use us in the future. I am a servant of Jesus Christ and His church and strive to be the kind of follower that would bring honor and joy to heart of God and the pastor. My life verse is Deut 6:5. I work to be the kind of leader that simply walks with the Lord and teaches Bible truths He has taught me. Leticia and I believe God has called us to Bible Baptist church to serve Him. Right now, we are working hard in the BBC ministries we have been given. I am there for anyone who needs me. If you would like to contact me please call/text 513 254-8328.
